Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp broke down in tears after the Reds were crowned the new Premier League champions, ending their 30-year old drought, after Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-1 at the Stamford Bridge on Friday
"This is a big moment, I have no real words. I am completely overwhelmed. I never thought I would feel like this," Klopp said moments after his team sealed the title.
"It's an incredible achievement for my players," he added.
Liverpool were forced to a 0-0 draw by Everton on Sunday, and after beating Crystal Palace 4-0 in the mid-week, they needed Manchester City to drop points against Chelsea in order to become the new champions. Frank Lampard's Chelsea did them a favour, beating the defending champions 2-1 which sealed a 19th league title for the Reds with a record seven games remaining.

With seven games still to play, Liverpool are well on course to beat Manchester City's record points total of 100 set in 2017/18.
The game between Chelsea and Manchester City, meanwhile, was watched by the Liverpool players, who gathered at a hotel in the city and celebrated wildly as the referee blew the whistle for full-time. A tale of total dominance finally culminated into a title and there was no stopping the fans, who marched onto the streets to celebrate their beloved club's triumph.
