INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Committee announced today the field of 21 teams for the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship.

Fourteen conferences were awarded automatic qualifications for the 2026 championship. The seven remaining berths were reserved for at-large candidates. At-Large candidates consist of all remaining institutions from automatic-qualifying conferences that are not the conference champion or independent institutions

Cal Lutheran (21-6), Loras (20-6), Messiah (25-5), New York University (19-6), Springfield (21-3), Southern Virginia (28-5) and SUNY New Paltz (22-7) earned the seven at-large bids.

In 2025, Southern Virginia won the 2025 NCAA DIII men's volleyball championship. The Knights defeated Springfield 3-0 in the championship match at the Creggar Center in Roanoke, Virginia.
