UAE secures maiden T20I victory against Bangladesh

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) cricket team made history by beating Bangladesh by two wickets for the first time in any international match. This exciting win happened during the second T20 International (T20I) match of a three-game series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

During the match, Bangladesh batted first and scored 205/5 in 20 overs. Tanzid Hasan played well and made 59 runs, while Tawhid Hridoy added another 45. It was an intense game, but it wasn’t enough to win the match.

UAE, determined for a victorious game, surprised everyone with a strong chase. Their captain, Muhammad Waseem, played an amazing innings. He scored 82 runs from just 42 balls, which gave his team a strong start. 

‘I have no words. I am very happy we beat Bangladesh. Very happy with the performance,’ Waseem said after the match. Even though wickets fell near the end, they still managed to secure 206 runs and win the game.
